Web based governance, maintenance and control

Functionality to define a scope of organizations, assets and resources that participate in the same process or work task.

If several work tasks are critical it is common to create one organizational entity for this and assign responsibility.  The responsible person has the power to control all the parties in the defined scope.

Examples can be:

  • National Medical IT system
  • Value chain production
  • Business continuity planning
  • Strategic alliance
  • EU financed research project

Involved parts in the scope can be the business process, information, IT system, IT operation. By defining the scope of all these parts it can be organized into one entity with shared objectives, management and control.

The first step is to register and document the Scope. Web technology facilitates the work and the steps are typical to identify participants, set objectives and measures, responsibilities and control programs.
